Before we kicked off Emily and Jack’s destination wedding at Mission Ranch in Carmel by the sea, we decided we should do a session by the ocean!
Jack and Emily did their engagement session in Dallas and while we were capturing their photos I asked her if she would regret not doing a session by the ocean. Emily responded. Thank you for knowing me. Yes, I think you are right. I think I will regret not having photos by the Ocean. So, the day before their rehearsal dinner, we planned to sneak away from the hustle and bustle and have a little session date. It was absolute perfection, even with the rain. I honestly feel that any couple who is planning a destination wedding should have a session before the festivities begin. It was SO much fun! They laughed together, danced together in the rain and relaxed before welcoming their guests to their wedding weekend celebration.
After their session, I went to my hotel room and sent them some photos of their session and it was a hit! All their guests enjoyed getting a glimpse of the weekend at the very start. It was wonderful!
